Oakville Tapestry Studio
In the Studio I want the members to feel free to share new ideas regarding textile novelties.
The studio works in looms with vertical warps (haute lisse) and frame looms as well.
Happy faces share their excitement when they finish a tapestry. This is Yamile and her latest tapestry. It is her first large piece.

After some years of working as a Studio, I decided to share a space to showcase and to promote all of what the Studio is working on.
In these past 5 years, the Studio has grown into an interesting space where traditional tapestry techniques mix with contemporary proposals.
Members show their talents and create wonderful fibre pieces.
